Dianna & Ben – Seaport World Trade Center, Spring Wedding in Boston

Dianna and Ben were so much fun on their wedding day!  And I was thrilled we finally got the early Spring weather we were supposed to have for an early spring wedding in Boston!  Their first look on Seaport World Trade Center’s Boulevard of Flags was just gorgeous.  The flags and the Boston city skyline make a perfect backdrop for their formal photos.  The ceremony in the Winter Garden was so bright and airy it felt like we were outside.  The flowers were the epitome of Spring with beautiful, soft pinks and greens.  That soft, lovely palate transitioned into neon up-lighting in the Harborview Ballroom so guests could dance the night away!  But my favorite photos of the day were the quick ones we were able to sneak in on the huge Harborview Ballroom deck right on Boston Harbor.  The light was soft and Dianna and Ben were truly blissful having just finished their vows.  It was a fantastic day!  Some of my favorite wedding photos from the day… First Look and Formal Photos Wedding Details   Special Wedding Day Moments And here is their full wedding day slide show!   Thanks to her great vendors! Jessica + Eric’s Romantic Winter Wedding in Boston’s Seaport District

You know I just love it when I have the chance to work with several clients in a tight group of friends.  After the second or third wedding, I start to feel like one of the girls!  Jessica and Eric’s wedding was like that.  I had three former clients and one future client (and one current client of course!) in the same ballroom.  I had as much fun as the guests!  Jessica and Eric’s wedding was an elegant affair at the beautiful Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.  After seeing them at previous affairs and their engagement shoot, I felt like a good friend rather than a photographer.  They were even brave enough to spend some time with me outdoors in the cold but beautiful Boston Seaport District.  Thank you for a wonderful close to my 2014 wedding season Jessica and Eric!  It was perfect!

Natalie + Chris’ Boston Marriott Long Wharf Wedding

This season has been filled with the weddings of siblings of former clients.  And that’s such a compliment!  I remember Natalie’s mom telling me at the end of her brother’s wedding that she had a daughter who would be getting engaged soon and I could expect a call.  I was so excited to see the Drummy family again!  Now, no bride wants rain on her wedding day.  But they normally get past bad weather knowing they are about to married to the love of their life.  Natalie was so excited, I don’t even think she noticed it was raining!  We didn’t have a chance to sneak out for a single outdoor photo.  And it didn’t matter one bit!  They were both absolutely on cloud nine all evening.

Melissa + Timothy’s Seaport Boston Wedding

When getting to know Melissa and Tim, it was obvious their friends and family were very important to them.  They found a way to incorporate every guest into their ceremony and it was so lovely!  Each guest was given a penny as they were seated.  And a special point in the ceremony the guests were asked to take out their penny and to make a wish for the couple.  They were invited to drop the penny in a special jar the two had engraved for the ceremony.  Melissa and Tim also made their wish and dropped the penny into the jar.  It was so touching!  Possibly my new favorite ceremony addition!  It was beautiful celebration all evening!

Meredith + Bryce’s Boston Seaport Wedding

During his toast, one of the best men at Meredith and Bryce’s wedding said, “Everything they touch turns to gold.”  Well if their wedding day was any example, it certainly does!  Meredith and Bryce had an absolutely golden day!  We can start the day with perfect weather.  Meredith and Bryce made it to the beautiful Cathedral of the Holy Cross without a moment of stress.  The ceremony was splendid.  We continued on to the Harbor Walk  where the couple was able to incorporate their love of the water and the city.  And on to the fabulous Seaport World Trade Center where the celebration was simply electric!  Oh, and let’s not forget the surprise fireworks at the end of the evening!  I can’t remember a single hitch.  Meredith and Bryce, I know your lives together will be as perfect as your wedding day was!

Samantha & Mike’s Seaport Boston Wedding

Photographers can often tell how a day is going to go the second the enter the scene.  I knew Mike & Samantha’s wedding was going to be a blast the moment I stepped into her bridal suite.  Her bridesmaids (all 9 of them!) were buzzing around the room while Sam giggled and chatted with family.  It was lovely.  And it was obvious how important these friends and family were to Sam & Mike.  Not only was their wedding party 18 people strong, but they each had three best men & three maids of honor!  I could tell they planned their entire day around what would make their loved ones comfortable and happy.  Which in turn, made them comfortable and happy.  It was fantastic to capture!

Anna & Patrick’s Seaport Wedding

There is something about the Hahn & Kerrigan families.  They have a way of making you feel like family within minutes.  I was honored to be a part of Anna & Pat’s wedding day at Seaport (where I also feel like family!). But as Anna’s maid of honor eloquently said, Anna & Pat’s marriage was much bigger than the two of them.  I truly witnessed a marriage of two families rather than two individuals.  It was easy to see the Hahn’s and Kerrigan’s have decades of fun together before them!  Congratulations to you all!!
