I Love my Job!

There are so many things about my job that I love.  One of the biggest, is the variety it offers me.  They say variety is the spice of life.  If that’s true, my life is straight out of a Mexican restaurant!  In a 48 hour period, I was able to participate in three jobs completely different from one and other.  Each job made the creative juices flow and allowed me to be completely fresh for the next.  The first day started with a studio session with Khalil Abdul-Malik.  Khalil is a very talented musician and we were creating sleek and sexy images for his new CD cover.  Not only did I have a blast taking the photos, I also got a personal serenade! Khalil liked to sing while we shot.  Be sure to check him out at Reverb Nation.  Love that smooth voice!

The next day brought me outside for two shoots.  I started will Jillian…5 going on 15.  I’ve been shooting Jillian since she was one year old.  She’s always loved the camera.  And the camera has always loved her!  She is a fun and sassy young lady and kept me on my toes the entire shoot!  There was no posing needed for this diva.

Later that day, I met up with Heidi & Joe for their engagement session.  We spent time in their neighborhood playing with their dog Igby.  Heidi & Joe are a wonderful couple and although they’re not huge fans of having their photo taken, the session was easy.  They’re in love and it showed!  That’s all you need for a great photo.

I certainly have a wonderful job.  Can’t wait for the next adventure!!!
