Danielle and Steven – Royal Sonesta, Cambridge

After a wonderful Engagement Session with Danielle and Steven, I was so excited to capture their wedding images.  There were all sorts of threats of rain that day, but we were able to squeeze in all our outdoor photos!  Danielle got ready at her parent’s home which I always find lovely.  The ceremony was at Saint Athanasius Church in Reading, and the reception was at the beautiful Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.   Danielle is a traditional kind of girl it showed on her wedding gown.  I’m in love with all the detail from the lace to the buttons.   Check out this adorable ring bearer and his briefcase.  In the briefcase was a special note from the bride to the groom. The Royal Sonesta never disappoints when it comes to outdoor locations for formal photos.  The sky that day was just amazing. Steven is a big car guy!  They decided to name their tables after fantastic cars.  But even better, they had a model of each car at the table.  It added a great flair to the decor. Olivia and Zachary – Newport Beach Club, Rhode Island, Associate Photographer Rebecca

When Olivia first contacted me about her wedding, I was devastated that I was already booked.  I’ve photographed Olivia’s sister’s wedding and her cousin’s wedding and the DiLorenzo’s are one of my favorite families!  My only solace was that they chose to use Associate Photographer Rebecca for their wedding.  So we totally kept it in the Photography by Nikki Cole family.  Olivia and Zachary’s wedding was at the Newport Beach Club in Rhode Island.  It was a gorgeous day.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.   Olivia’s choice of pale pink bridesmaids dresses was perfect against the sand and blue ocean on Newport Beach.  But the real show stopper was Zachary’s socks.  He ordered special socks with Olivia’s face all over them.  I just can’t… Olivia and Zachary’s first look was right on the beach.  I love that they both went barefoot! Newport Beach Club also had some gorgeous spots for formal wedding photos right on the property. It was the perfect day for a wedding ceremony on the beach in Rhode Island! Shannon and Stephen – Tewksbury Country Club

Shannon and Stephen’s wedding was a family affair!  Team Cole was in full force.  Shannon started the day getting ready at her parent’s home while Stephen got ready in their own home.  The ceremony and some gorgeous outdoor photos of the bride and groom were at Saint Monica Parish and the celebration was at Tewksbury Country Club.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.   When we arrived at Shannon’s house, we walked in on her and her dad practicing their father daughter dance.  It was adorable! Stephen surprised Shannon with a card and a gift prior to the wedding.  I love photographing those special moments when the bride hears from her husband to be on their wedding day. There was a gorgeous spot behind Shannon’s parent’s home for some formal photos.  Shannon looked absolutely beautiful set against the emerging fall colors.  Meanwhile, Stephen was preparing for his big day.  I have a feeling he’s not a fan of formal wear.  Check out his face getting buttoned up!  But he looked awful handsome. Connie and Terry – Danversport Yacht Club, Massachusetts

It was such a treat photographing Connie and Terry’s wedding!  I had the honor of photographing Connie’s brother’s wedding years prior and I was thrilled to see them again!  We spent the entire day at the Danversport Yacht Club.  The weather was absolutely perfect.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.   The Danversport Yacht Club has a beautiful, light filled room for the bride to dress.  Since Connie is…shall we say…vertically challenged, she is used to wearing smashing high heels.  I loved both pair and loved capturing them!  Keep an eye out for the second pair! The ceremony was under the gazebo right on the waterfront.  There is a beautiful view from the Danversport, but think everyone was too captivated with Connie and Terry to notice. We were able to get even closer to the water for formal photos.  The bridesmaid’s pink dresses were perfect against the pale green grass and pale blue water.  It was just dreamy.  Connie had some lovely detail with buttons all the way down the back of her dress which made for a fun photo. Amelia’s Bat Mitzvah – Associate Photographer, Rebecca – Seaport World Trade Center, Boston

Amelia’s Bat Mitzvah was a wonderful celebration!  Both huge Harry Potter fans, she and photographer Rebecca were just made for each other.  Amelia’s service was held at Temple Hillel B’nai Torah in Boston.  And her reception was at the Seaport World Trade Center.  Here are some of our favorite photos of the day!   Dressed all in white, Amelia was just lovely. The Seaport was a gorgeous spot for family photos.  The family had their choice of an amazing city skyline or Boston Harbor as a backdrop.  Amelia was just stunning in her gown.  And I absolutely LOVE her shoes! Amelia’s theme for her party was simply out of this world. Friends and family played games and danced the night away on that fabulous white dance floor! Nikki and Ben – EpiCenter, Boston

Nikki and Ben could not have been more fun on their wedding day!  It was a gorgeous day in Boston and we had a bast hoping from place to place for some iconic Boston photos.  We started the day getting ready at the gorgeous Intercontinental Hotel.  We took some fabulous formal photos on the Greenway and on the waterfront.  Then we all headed to the EpiCenter for the ceremony and reception.  It’s such a cool spot for a wedding.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.   I spent the entire time getting ready obsessed with Nikki’s amazing blue eyes.  They were brilliant!  And her gorgeous makeup and lashes made them pop even more.   The first look was just behind the Intercontinental Hotel on Boston Harbor.  As soon as Nikki saw Ben, the happy tears started.  It was so sweet.  After some photos there, the wedding party jumped on a bus for some more photos across the way by the courthouse.  I love the view of the Boston Harbor Hotel archway from that spot.  It just screams Boston! Kara and Nathan – Royal Sonesta, Cambridge, Massachusetts

Kara and Nathan knew exactly what their priorities were on their wedding day.  They wanted to be surrounded by friends and family.  And they wanted a smooth and fun day.  I think they got both.  The entire experience was at the fabulous Royal Sonesta, Boston.  They got ready in beautiful hotel rooms overlooking the Charles River.  Their first look and formal photos were by the river just outside the hotel.  And their ceremony and celebration were in the grand ballroom.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day.   Kara was so calm and happy getting ready for her big day.  Just look at that beaming smile!   It was an absolutely gorgeous Labor Day weekend on the Charles River.  We had a beautiful sky and view of the city skyline for formal photos.  Nathan’s mother is a florist and created the most beautiful floral arrangements.  It was simply stunning.  I loved the bouquets! Kara and Nathan’s ceremony was so special.  They started with a private Ketubah ceremony which is the signing of the Jewish marriage license.  Rather than carrying her bouquet down the aisle, she chose to create another bouquet from flowers handed to her by […]

Jillian and Samuel – Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, Ipswich

Jillian and Sam planned a perfect wedding day!  We started the day getting ready at Beautique Salon and Blue-Inn on the Beach.  Jillian dressed in the bridal room of the gorgeous castle on Crane Estate here the ceremony and tented reception were also held.  It was a stunning day.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the day.   The boys got ready at Blue, which is a gorgeous Inn in Newbury.  The ladies had a blast at the salon.  And they all gathered at the Crane Estate for the first look.  I just love how Jillian beamed when she got her dress on. The first look was at the Casino on the Estate.  It was the most gorgeous backdrop.  But I don’t think Jillian and Sam saw anything but each other.  Formal photos were a blast.  There were too many beautiful spots to choose from at Castle Hill. The ceremony was set against the rolling hills of the estate.  The bride and groom were married under a gorgeous arch.  It couldn’t have been more perfect. Taylor and Trevor – Inn at Pleasant Lake, New London, New Hampshire

Taylor had the wedding she always dreamed of!  She got ready and shared her first look at the lake home in Sunopee she spent time in since she was a little girl.  It was a gorgeous summer day for formal photos right on the water.  After that, the wedding party headed to the Inn at Pleasant Lake for a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony and a fabulous tented celebration.  Here are some of my favorite images from the day.   Taylor was beaming from the moment we arrived. Taylor and Trevor’s first look on the lake was idyllic.  He was so thrilled to see her.  And they were both just gorgeous! The ceremony was filled with special meaning.  The couple chose to have their rings passed from guest to guest so each could impart a special blessing upon them.  They also created a very special blending ceremony.  They chose to blend water from the lakes that each spent time on as children.  They   blended the waters with Taylor’s uncle performing in the background. Christina and Christian – Seaport Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts

Christina and Christian are a wonderful couple!  They were all smiles on their wedding day.  And it was a fabulous wedding!  The happy couple were married at Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Weymouth, Massachusetts and their celebration was at my old stomping grounds at Seaport Hotel in Boston.  Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.   Christian got ready for his wedding day surrounded by is groomsmen at the Seaport Hotel in Boston while Christina got ready in her childhood home in Weymouth.  It was so cool to photograph her dressing in her childhood bedroom (which was apparently the cleanest it had ever been)!   I love the first moments after Christina finished getting ready for her wedding day.  She was pure joy.  And her father was so excited to see his baby girl dressed in her wedding gown.
