Katie + Anthony’s Fabulous DIY Wedding

Katie and Anthony’s wedding was just a blast to shoot! It was full of special DIY touches. You see, Katie (on top of being a fabulous dancer and choreographer) owns a wonderful business that creates beautiful paper flowers and other paper items for special events. Please check her out for at www.katherineelizabethevents.com your next event! Her wedding day was a fabulous opportunity to show her talent and artistry. The celebration was held at Melrose Memorial Hall in a great old theater which added its’ own artistic flair. Combine all that beauty and character with a beautiful couple (totally head over heals for each other) with a really fun group of friends and family, and you’ve got a photographer’s dream wedding! Natalie + Chris’ Boston Marriott Long Wharf Wedding

This season has been filled with the weddings of siblings of former clients. And that’s such a compliment! I remember Natalie’s mom telling me at the end of her brother’s wedding that she had a daughter who would be getting engaged soon and I could expect a call. I was so excited to see the Drummy family again! Now, no bride wants rain on her wedding day. But they normally get past bad weather knowing they are about to married to the love of their life. Natalie was so excited, I don’t even think she noticed it was raining! We didn’t have a chance to sneak out for a single outdoor photo. And it didn’t matter one bit! They were both absolutely on cloud nine all evening.

Melissa + Timothy’s Seaport Boston Wedding

When getting to know Melissa and Tim, it was obvious their friends and family were very important to them. They found a way to incorporate every guest into their ceremony and it was so lovely! Each guest was given a penny as they were seated. And a special point in the ceremony the guests were asked to take out their penny and to make a wish for the couple. They were invited to drop the penny in a special jar the two had engraved for the ceremony. Melissa and Tim also made their wish and dropped the penny into the jar. It was so touching! Possibly my new favorite ceremony addition! It was beautiful celebration all evening!

Vicky + Zhihuai’s Elegant Four Season’s Wedding

Vicky and Zhihuai’s wedding was a lovely mix of tradition and modern style. Vicky started the day in lovely white gown made for a princess and finished the evening in a stunning red evening dress true to tradition. And of course, the property they chose to be married at certainly mirrors that same style. I just love shooting at the Four Seasons Boston. Not only is the property stunning. There are so many gorgeous options available for outdoor shooting as well. We had a great time wandering the city with the wedding party!

GinaMaree + Ryan’s Autumn Wedding in New England

Gina + Ryan are a wonderful couple. I’m so happy their wedding day turned out so lovely! We woke up to the threat of rain. But that quickly dissipated and was replaced by lovely blue sky the second I started shooting. We were able to sneak out and get a great backdrop of foliage outside Gina’s parent’s home where she was getting ready. The sun even stayed out long enough for us to sneak in some fabulous courtyard images at the church after the ceremony. And the party! Wow! These two have some fun friends. The dance floor was a blast!

Dana + Brendan’s Fall Wedding in Gloucester

Dana and Brendan have the sweetest love story. They have been dating since Dana was 15. They are first loves! So needless to say, this wedding has been a long time coming. And they weren’t going to let a little rain (OK, a lot of rain) get in their way! We still got some gorgeous outdoor photos and even a bit of foliage for their Fall and Pumpkin themed wedding. It was a fabulous celebration at Gloucester’s Cruiseport. What a great night!

Elizabeth + Paul’s Salem Wedding

It’s been a while since I’ve done a home town wedding. And I was thrilled to be a part of this one! After shooting Paul’s sister’s wedding, it was an honor to be contacted by Elizabeth for their wedding. Paul and Elizabeth were married in a beautiful church in Salem and celebrated their nuptials at Salem’s Hawthorne Hotel. The lack of daylight didn’t stop us from taking some fabulous photos in the park right next door. I love me some evening photos!

Meredith + Bryce’s Boston Seaport Wedding

During his toast, one of the best men at Meredith and Bryce’s wedding said, “Everything they touch turns to gold.” Well if their wedding day was any example, it certainly does! Meredith and Bryce had an absolutely golden day! We can start the day with perfect weather. Meredith and Bryce made it to the beautiful Cathedral of the Holy Cross without a moment of stress. The ceremony was splendid. We continued on to the Harbor Walk where the couple was able to incorporate their love of the water and the city. And on to the fabulous Seaport World Trade Center where the celebration was simply electric! Oh, and let’s not forget the surprise fireworks at the end of the evening! I can’t remember a single hitch. Meredith and Bryce, I know your lives together will be as perfect as your wedding day was!

Andrea + Dan’s Seaside Gloucester Wedding

Adorable alert! My favorite moment from Andrea and Dan’s wedding was walking out to the pier to do some dusk photos. Out of nowhere, Dan announces, “Nikki, I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been!” I just about melted right there! Andrea and Dan are such a lovely couple. They’re funny, interesting, kind and a blast to be around! They had a beautiful ocean side wedding at Cruiseport in Gloucester. The location is wonderful as it’s super close to one of my favorite beaches for photos. And we got a glorious day! Congratulations Andrea and Dan. Amy + Jason’s Andover Country Club Wedding

Fun. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Amy and Jason! From the wedding party to both extended families, at every turn someone was making someone else laugh. Of course, I’m I’ve become accustomed to this wonderful atmosphere! I had four former clients in the room and each shoot was a fun as the last. I’m totally spoiled by all of you!
